Unpacking God's work
God has been working through the Summer Medical Institute in Philadelphia!
The team gathered in Philadelphia just over two weeks ago, on Saturday, July 7. Since that time, they have shadowed physicians at Esperanza Health Center, learned from medical professionals, and walked door-to-door in Hunting Park and Kensington, offering medical screenings.
If you have not already, check out their blog entries at http://smiphilly.wordpress.com. In the blog, students unpack what God has been doing in and through their teams. Reading their entries will encourage and strengthen your faith and witness!

How Dry?
Sent from one drought state in the country: How dry is it?
IT'S SO DRY IN Virginia that the Baptists are starting to baptize by sprinkling, the Methodists are using wet-wipes, the Presbyterians are giving rain checks, and the Catholics are praying for the wine to turn back into water!
