Move Over, Gamecocks
I must tip my baseball hat to Bob Lang's Marietta College, the "Etta Express," for winning their back-to-back college world series in Division III baseball. Whereas my beloved Gamecocks can only claim their back-to-back championships as their only championships in baseball, Bob's Etta Express have won their sixth! Bob tells me that some of Marrietta's players went on to become Phillies.

My name is Gideon Whitehead. I am a classical guitarist and an incoming student in the artist diploma program at the Curtis Institute of Music. As I prepare for my arrival in Philadelphia this fall, my main concern is to find a place to live that is affordable and, if at all possible, a place where I can live with other Christians.

Jesus in the News
It is Sunday, I thought I would check out the front page of CNN online in case any major events were taking place to mention in prayer. What greeted me was the headline in the middle of the page, "How Jesus saved my dad and my family." Here is the article.
