Mr. Bollywood

Would you buy a used car from this man - Phil "Mr. Bollywood" Ryken?

Calendar Access

Having trouble keeping up with church activities? Not if you are connected with ACS Access, the Temth community that provides a church directory and an up-to-date calendar. That calendar is the same one we on staff use.

You are connected with the site, aren't you? Don't be embarrassed. No one needs to know. Just email Christy Corbett at ccorbett@tenth.org and tell her you want to get connected (you need to be a church member). She'll take it up from there.

Project Angel Tree

Project Angel Tree is in operation. Volunteers are needed to:

1. Purchase one or more gifts
2. Contribute money toward cost of Bibles that are given to each child (put "AT bibles" on check memo line)
3. Be a driver to pick up kids needing transportation for December 12 party or to be on a gift delivery team on December 19

To help, email David Monie.

Blood Drive

We are hosting another Red Cross Blood Drive next Tuesday, December 1 (yes, December is almost here!), from noon to 6:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to recruit dones, assist at the refreshment table, and help greet people. Email Janice Roberts to make an appointment or to volunteer.

Congregational Meeting and Dinner

The congregational meeting is coming up in less than two weeks - December 4. 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the church budgets and elect elders, deacons, and deaconesses, as well as new members for the nominating committee. Phil will moderate, but will NOT be wearing his Bollywood jacket.

Come early for the church-wide dinner at 6:15. You need to register. Click here to access a copy of the registration form. You can print out the form and bring it in Sunday or mail it (1701 Delancey Street 19103) or fax it (215.301.3960). Or you can call in (215.735.7688). You cannot twitter it, sorry.

There is childcare provided for the meeting, for which you can sign up on the registration form.

Who Is God? Documentary

This was sent in to me:

Just saw a note in today's Inquirer that they are giving out pairs of tickets to "Oh My God," a documentary opening at the Ritz on Fruday, Nov 27. The filmmaker spent 2 1/2 years travelling to 23 countries asking people who God is. He presents their responses in the film. I'm sure we'll be disappointed in most answers, but from an anthropological perspective it should be fascinating. Intrigued? You can see the trailer on youtube.

To get tickets e-mail movie.tickets@verizon.net with your name address, and zip code.
