Bible Reading Guides
Phil Ryken prepared year-long Bible reading guides a couple of years ago. The Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals printed the guides in booklet form and have made them available for the church. You can pick one up this Sunday in the church lobbies.
Robert "I Can Find Anything" Polen sent me this online link to the reading plan.

Christmas Breakfast
The staff was treated to a delightful breakfast this morning by the Wynne family - Carroll, Kimberly, David, Rachel, and Jonathan. Not only did we have delicious food, but they set up beautiful tables with lighted candles, and formal dinnerware. The background music was Paul Jones' Christmas Impromptu.
Quite satisfying all around!

Doing It All
Not that I pay attention to these things, but the game ending game winning punt return of the Eagles was made possible by the final block of wide receiver Jason Avant. Here is a writer's comment about him. Be sure to read to the end and to click the link I put on his name.
Lessons and Carols
Lessons and Carols, December 23 and 24
by Dr. Paul S. Jones, Organist & Music Director
As is our regular and joyful practice, the Tenth Church Choir and soloists along with the Westminster Brass and Tenth Chamber Players will offer diverse anthems to the glory of God and for the enjoyment of all who attend. These anthems span 500 years of music history from the early Baroque to the present day and are closely linked to Scripture passages that will be read by Pastors Clark and Tripp. The congregation will sing seven carols, including O Little Town of Bethlehem, written at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Rittenhouse Square in 1868 by the rector, Phillips Brooks, and his organist, Lewis Redner.

Reporting Good Things
Pastor Clark,
50 years ago at 8 p.m. this evening, my Father walked me down the aisle to meet Bruce and our journey continues. Knowing Jesus has made all the difference. I think the good things should be reported so I'm sending this to you. Also, when you see Paul Jones please tell him that Bruce and I really really appreciate the organ music - yesterday after the service was just splendid!
