Lunch on a Summer Afternoon

Linger longer after church and attend the Global Outreach lunch on Sunday. It's a great opportunity to meet Tenth folk, chat over lunch, and then hear reports from our partners. This week we'll hear from the Maranatha summer team on their outreaches in Chester, Camden, and Philadelphia as well as from our partner visiting from India. He has great slides and you can hear firsthand what it's like to try to incarnate the gospel in a Hindu village in northern India.

Lunch begins at 1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall and the price can't be beat: $10 per family or $4 per individual.

Where Are the Facilities?

Work has begun on the Catacombs bathrooms, which will be off limits for a couple of months. We are turning over the Men's Bathroom off Fellowship Hall to the women and bringing in portables for the men (really).

I do have a bathroom outside my study, and am offering a special deal for anyone joining my club membership...

In Time

1, 2, 3...keep up the tempo, Paul.

Sam, pianissimo, please.

I am getting Paul Jones and Sam Hsu ready for a concert at Keswick in New Jersey.

Pick up that tempo, Paul. I need piu mosso!

Robert Polen

We welcome on staff Robert Polen today. He begins two duties, one as Director of City College and Career; the other as Assistant to the Senior Minister. In the first duty, he is carrying on the work he now has being doing as a Senior Intern. For the latter, he is replacing Anne Davies who has moved up to the 4th floor and will be serving as City Outreach Coordinator, as of September 1.
