Manly Blog
Welcome to The Art of Manliness- a blog dedicated to uncovering the lost art of being a man.
The Art of Manliness is authored by husband and wife team, Brett and Kate McKay. It features articles on helping men be better husbands, better fathers, and better men. In our search to uncover the lost art of manliness, we’ll look to the past to find examples of manliness in action. We’ll analyze the lives of great men who knew what it meant to “man up” and hopefully learn from them. Every week we seek to uncover the essential skills and knowledge today’s man needs to know.

The Champions!
Congratulations to the Ebeneezer and the Scrooges team which won the arduous competition at the Pastoral Staff and Spouses Christmas party. It was touch and go to the end, with E&S winning the final game. Each team member had to say to the next team member, "This too is vanity and a striving after the wind," without either person smiling. The Elfs couldn't quite handle it. So, again, congratulations to the following team members who won 15 to 0. (They had 2,015 points but 2,00o points were deducted after Phil read my private scoring notes.)
Team members: Susan McDowell, Luella Tripp, Pat Canavan, Caroll Wynne, Debbie Langford, Kate Apple, Cora Hogue, Jonathan Olsen, Phil Ryken.
