Women in the Word

Registration is open for this year’s Women in the Word: A Workshop - October 12 – 13, 2012 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, Willow Grove, PA. Women in the Word serves the church by helping women grow in their understanding of Scripture, strengthening both those who teach and those who study on their own. This year’s Bible Instructor is Rosemarie Green, teaching on “The Gospel of John: Life to the Full.” The cost is $90 per person, includes Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. A Time to be Born, a Time to Die

Please be in prayer for Doug Potts and his family. Doug's father passed away yesterday, July 31, but not before seeing his first grandchild Hannah born last week. He entered into glory with his family around his bedside.

SMI 2012 Video

The Summer Medical Institute Philadelphia ended on Saturday. Praise God for all that he accomplished through their three weeks of learning, shadowing, and reaching out in the neighborhood! And take a few minutes to watch the short video they made about their trip.

Pray for several students who are staying on this week to research the long-time effectiveness of the SMI. Pray that their findings lead to greater spiritual impact in the future.
