New Hope Liberia has need for two DVD players to use with projectors that the team can take to Liberia in February. If you have one available, contact Bruce McDowell at bmcdowell@tenth.org or leave at Tenth Church marked for New Hope Liberia.

Deep Thought
Hhmm...my Snapple cap says that six-year-olds laugh an average of 300 times a day. Adults only laugh 15 to 100 times a day.
But it doesn't note that it is adults that the six-year-olds have to laugh at.

Watch Night Service
Are you coming to the New Year's Eve Watch Night Service? I hope you can make it. From 9:00-10:30 anyone may stand and testify to what the Lord has done in his or her life in 2010. Then, after an hour break of fellowship in Reception Hall, we gather back in the sanctuary for a communion service from 11:30-midnight.
What would you say if you came? Would you mention one of the stories in the posting below - "Top Tenth Stories"? Or do you have a completely different story? Would you have a scripture to share, a lesson learned?
And if you come for the Communion Service, do you think being in the sanctuary of the Lord with your brothers and sisters of the faith, receiving the sign and seal of the gospel, and hearing the message spoken to you from the Word - do you believe that such an experience would minister to your spirit?
Not everyone can come - distance, having children, traveling at night are some of the reasons. But don't push the services aside thinking that you can do better, that is, a better party. If you have never been to a Watch Night at Tenth, now is the time to experience it.
