Missionary Family Housing

A missionary family from New Life Northeast will be in the area the beginning of October until the first week in January. They are involved World Harvest church planting in Nairobi, Kenya
They have 4 children, ages 6 - 17.

They need rental housing in the Philadelphia area because one of the family members needs treatment at Wills Eye Hospital.

CCA Open House

CCA's Open House is today (4:00-7:00). We are expecting over thirty families who have called in to come. Be in prayer for the event and that the strong numbers of inquiries and students taking tests will result in a bumper crop of new students. Our goal is 75 fulltime students.

Titus

Aaron's next sermon series will be the Epistle of Titus, Paul's "true child in a common faith." I encourage you to read the three chapter book before September in preparation.

News from the Delgados

The Delgados have had their baby: "Eliana Faith Delgado was born on August 4, 2006. everyone is doing well, and we feel so happy with our family. God has truly, truly blessed us."

Recording Change

Starting October 1, all audio recording will be done on CDs. We are transitioning from the audio cassettes. The price will remain the same - $3.25 (includes tax). We are doing this, basically, to keep up with the times. More people listen to cds than cassettes, production is actually cheaper and of better quality. Don't forget, you can also listen on the internet, as well as download into your computer or mp3 player.

Email Woes

We are having difficulty with church email this morning, in case you are trying to reach us. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon.

Jury Duty

Today should be my last day of jury duty. Pray for the jury's deliberations, that we render a fair verdict. One irony is that my bicycle handlebar grips were stolen off my bike while I was sitting in court!

Today

I am off to jury duty today, my second time this year. I will miss Anne Davies' first day on the job as Phil's assistant. Pat Canavan has a full day of orientation planned for her. This is also the day Danny Bombaro begins his new job, and the day my daughter Jean begins hers.
