To Saw

Does anyone have a Black&Decker workbench? If you do, I have an attachment for using a circular saw to give away. Let me know.

Add to that 12 cell batteries - size 357.

Budget Update

These are just raw numbers, but we received an offering of roughly 14-15K more than what we need in a week for the church ministry fund. This means that the deficit is down to about $70,000 with one week to go. We will need an offering of about $107,000 between now and Dec 31 to meet the church ministry budget. Am not sure of the status of missions and the building funds.

New Year's Eve

"We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done" (Psalm 78:4).

Let us hear your testimony of what the Lord has done in your life this past year. Come to the New Year's Eve service, beginning at 9:00. Testimony time runs until 10:30. We will then have an hour long reception to greet new elders, deacons, and deaconesses. Return to the sanctuary at 11:30 for a communion service that ends at midnight. It is a wonderful way to end the year and usher in the new year.

Blog Blocker

One of my regular blog readers cannot access the blog because his Norton security software is blocking it. Anyone else know of others with the same problem?

Preparing for Sunday

I am preaching this coming Sunday on Psalm 78:65-72. To best prepare for the message, read the whole psalm and the sermon I preached January 1 of this year on Psalm 78:1-8. You will find it under the DMC Messages link on the right or click here.

Bulletin Announcements

Dot is away, Anne Davies is doing the bulletin announcements. If you have any, you must get them in to her today, before noon to assure inclusion for this Sunday.
