Christian Education Opening
Hershey Christian School, in Hummelstown, Pa., has an opening for headmaster of the school. The school, started in 1995, offers a diversified K-12 developmental interdenominational program that addresses a wide range of learning needs. Caring teachers, small classes and a Christian worldview make it possible to provide a nurturing environment necessary to equip students to live God-honoring lives, whatever their vocation. Hershey Christian's current enrollment is approximately 240 students.
Interested candidates should email Holly Lankford.

Congratulations our Westminster Graduates
Yesterday we had four members graduate from Westminster Seminary: Stephen Brown (trimmed beard and decked out) and Bruce Eaton with Masters of Divinity, Rebecca Eaton with an Masters of Art in Biblical Counseling (Ella and Jack were very proud of their parents...and that they are going to Grandma's farm this weekend!) and Dr. James Weidenaar Doctor of Philosophy (show some respect) with his thesis entitled "Totum Hominem Non Aliud...Quam Concuspiscentiam": A study of Calvin's Doctrine of Concuspiscence with Special Reference to its Place in His Soteriology. (Just ask Deb...she can tell you all about it!)

Oh Oslo!
We are sitting in Jean and Lucas' apartment in Oslo overlooking a bay filled with boats. Good flights (although a lot of turbulence over the Atlantic). Tomorrow we start exploring. It is six hours ahead of Philadelphia time.

Jared and Amber have a boy!
Jared and Amber Carter shared the joyous news of their son's birth. "Dylan John arrived at 9:04 p.m. on Friday, May 20. He clocked in at a formidable 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 21 inches. Both momma and baby are in excellent health. We are in awe over this wonderful gift from God!" Pray for them as they care for this little guy.
Our sympathy to Tom and Kathy Brewer-Smythe
Tom Smythe's father passed on to glory on May 23 after a progressive illness that became more critical over the past week. The funeral is planned for Friday 5/27 at 11AM at Green Hill Presbyterian Church, 3112 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, Delaware 19807 (302) 652-5065 (same place where his mother's funeral was held). There will be a reception at the church after the funeral. Tom and Kathy would appreciate your prayers since they also just lost Tom's mother in recent months.
Charge to the Minister
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
Liam, this is a bit of a challenge to give a charge to you. I have given charges before to ministers, but they were younger than I and none of them were my boss! What do I have to say to a minister more experienced than I? The only area where I have more experience is in serving Tenth Presbyterian Church. And so, keeping the congregation of this church in mind, let me give the following charge.
