Tonight's Festival

Don't forget that tonight is the Festival of Carols. See a couple of postings below.

Black Nativity

This looks like an interesting show - "Black Nativitiy" - and is being held nearby on 1831 Bainbridge.

Theatre Double kicks off its 2010-2011 Season with Langston Hughes's Black Nativity. Mattilyn Rochester leads a multi-generational cast in Theatre Double’s holiday musical spectacle. Black Nativity is an innovative retelling of the Biblical Christmas story with a score of traditional and contemporary gospel music.

Fellow Workers

Our staff had the honor this morning for breakfast of hosting students from Christ Bible Seminary in Japan, the seminary headed by Michael Oh. They are an inspiration to us, as they prepare for ministry with little pay and difficult soil for planting, yet with a spirit of joy and love for their Savior.

Here is a blog posting by Michael from the Desiring God website.

Liz-Sophie-Liz, Oh My!

It is so confusing working here, especially when I am suppose to be watching over it all! So, Liz Mosebrook tells us she will be stepping down at the end of the year as the coordinator for global outreach. So I'm sad. But, then Sophie Kim will take her job. Great, now I'm glad. But now her position as TIF assistant needs to be filled. Oh well. But wait, someone will take her job - Liz Mosebrook! I think all this happens in January. This month is December, isn't it?
