From the 1989 Annual Report

Hope, Harvest's AIDS outreach, has now been in existence for a little over one year. During that time service has developed in three different ways. The first is a direct ministry to people with AIDS, their families and friends.... The second area of development is AIDS education in the churches.... The last area of work is meeting physical needs.
