Agreement of Sale
The following e-blast was sent out today to the congregation regarding the new property:
To the Congregation and Friends of Tenth Presbyterian,
Thank you for your prayers for God's guidance concerning the purchase of the 1716 Spruce building.
Our negotiations have now concluded and we have an agreement of sale with the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals dated May 16, 2012. While receiving proper zoning remains a contingency of the sale, this is an important milestone and I commend Frank Harder and his team for their hard work. We are grateful to God and look to him for his provision for our financial needs and his wisdom as we make plans to use the building for more effective outreach in Center City.
With the purchase of this building, Tenth will have a greater opportunity to proclaim Jesus to the young families, office workers, college students, medical professionals and others who live and work downtown. Pray with me that we will be able to use it well to serve our neighborhood in a way that draws people into our wider church community and ultimately into a personal relationship with Christ.
In Christ,
