Glen Umberger to give City Hall presentation

Tenth member Glen Umberger will give a lecture, "City Hall: An Architectural Treasure in the Heart of the City," on Wednesday, November 11, at 8:00 pm, for the Merion Civic Association. It will be held at the Merion Tribute House, 625 Hazelhurst Ave, in Merion. He will include a lot of his personal photography and will talk about the history of the building (using some historic photographs from Dept of Records), some of the interior rooms, a representative sampling of Calder's exterior sculpture, and some of his tile project findings. The event is free and open to the public.
