Hotline Volunteer

This was sent in as an opportunity to help one of our city ministry partners, Alpha Pregnancy:

Ever wish you could do something practical and non-political about those pro-life convictions you have? Being a hotliner for Alpha Pregnancy Services is a simple once a month way to make a difference. It is often women looking through the yellow pages for help with their unplanned pregnancy who call the hotline and you have the privilege of telling them where to get it. Alpha will take it from there. Answering that call and giving information about the services Alpha has to offer opens a door of hope and help to women who are trying to figure out what to do in a difficult situation. Just imagine the next phone number they could be calling if Alpha was not there to help. The hotline is call-forwarded to your home, so you can catch up on the home front in between the average of five calls you would get during a four hour shift.
