Homework Assignment
Paul Tripp has been giving homework assignments on Sunday evenings. His assignment for this week is to anwer the following questions:
Is there someplace in my life where I have pointed the finger at God?
Where have I questioned God's goodness?
These are sobering questions to ask of ourselves. But I have to admit, I did think, "Can Paul really not know how Philadelphia sports fans would answer these questions?"

There is a book out about Philadelphia sports teams entitled, "If Football is a Religion, How Come We Don't Have a Prayer."
Like the Children of Isreal wondering in the wilderness, Phildelphia sports fans are long suffering -- and they may have to wait another 40 years for a championship team to come alone.
