Free Pianos

I don't know if they are still available but this email came in from Gerald Carter:

I have 2 used pianos to give away freely to anyone interested; one is a Hallet Davis console, and the other is a Kimball spinet. These pianos could be used for practice for new students, or rehearsal for choirs, musicians, etc.. All the keys work and play. I need to get rid of them preferably by Wednesday, January 2, 2008 to make room for a new tenant. They are located at 1733 Manton Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146. Please call me at 215-455-4328 if you, or someone you know wants one or both of them. You will need to supply your own movers with a truck. TP Moving and Hauling (215-548-1784), and Fox Piano Movers (215-592-8411) are movers I have used in the past.

Yes - Attee's calling you now.
We're interested in the Kimball (I think).

Noelle (our 6 year old) is somewhat of a prodigy. She's never had piano lessons but happens to play like the Dickens out of mere giftedness from the Lord. She'll hear a hymn or song and then sit at the littel Casio keyboard in her playroom and go at it - both hands, high and low notes, as if she "knows" what she's doing - and it sounds right. It's pretty impressive (of course, I am bias ... but honest, too).
We've been praying about purchasing a real piano and lessons for Noelle, but just never had the means ... perhaps this is an answer to prayer. Thanks. We hope that we can help you releive yourself of this several-hundred pound burden. ;)
