Family Bonding

Our offering ushers took on a family theme last Sunday at the 11:00 service. The Brubakers and the Reimolds split the sanctuary floor responsibility and the Kanaks took the balconeys. Collecting money is a good way to bond as a family.

Thanks for the nod to the family servce opportunity, Marion! We all had a great time gathering money! ( We DID hand it over to the Deacons. honest !!)
Tenth Women has been helping to take the offering for a number of years now, every 4th Sunday of the month. It is one simple but vital way in which we can help lighten the work load which the Deaconate carry Sunday after Sunday, week in and week out. Their jobs just go on and on!
It just dawned on me lately that although Tenth Women is organizing the taking of the offering on the fourth Sunday of the month I didn't have to have only women serving that week! ( Sometimes it takes me a while, but the job will get done!)
I am looking for a few good women, (men, and children too), who are members of the church, to join us in this simple service to support the Deacons as they serve our larger Church family! It is easy to learn how to do the job!
We are trying to fill slots for the 9 am and 11 am ( and even the evening service if we can) for every 4th Sunday of the month.
