WIC Report
Got a report from Jessie Bible who is attending the WIC National Conference in Atlanta. Bryan Chappell filled in for Phil. The Boice/Jones hymn "Alive in Christ" was sung with our own Jessie helping to lead the singing. She's having a great time learning a lot, being challenged, and meeting "tremendous" women.

I should mention that one of my worst fears is having to sing by myself so that others would hear me. So the fact I sang into a microphone to help lead an entire ballroom of women sing is just one of the most crazy things ever. But I was willing to do it to help people learn such a great hymn.
I should also mention that on Bryan filled in on Thursday only. On Friday, Charles Dunahoo spoke as well as Marlys Markley. All three speakers did an excellent job.
Everyone missed Phil though. I hope that he can do this in the future.
(By the way, in case anyone wants to know what a "WIC" is - it's "Women in the Church" - the PCA name for women's ministry.)
