Urgent Prayer Request

Robin Seah requests prayer for her brother Kerby (23 yrs old) who is in the hospital in a coma with what the doctors believe to be encephalitis, basically inflammation of the brain probably caused by a virus. At this point, they don't really know which direction things could go. They will be doing an MRI this morning.

My brother just woke up ten minutes ago! Thank you for praying! I spoke with him on the phone, and he knew who I was. It looks good... they now think it was not encephalitis... what it was they do not yet know. We are now praying that it doesn't relapse... whatever it was. Please join with my family in praising the Lord and continuing to pray for Kerby's continued health.

Thank you!
Robin

Kerby was doing so well on Friday that they discharged him on Saturday. However, my dad found him unconcious on the floor this afternoon (Monday), and so it appears that the "coma state" has relapsed. He is still unconcious and on the way to the hospital as I write this. Unfortunately, the doctors are stumped. Please pray that whatever this is would show up on some of the tests and that the doctors would be able to think of something soon. I do know that my mom requested that he be sent to a bigger university hospital this time, so hopefully with more doctors thinking about his case, the sooner a diagnosis can be made.
