It's Beginning to Look...
...a lot like Christmas...in the church. The wreaths are hung and the tree is standing. But I did not see the bird...Where is he hiding?

Oh, please, let the bird be lost forever.... it's much beter without him! I don't think he looks right in the tree, and I'm uncomfortable that doves can be considered visual representations for the Holy Spirit- it is an unnecessary stumbling block for some.
hopefully in some dark and forgotten corner of a locked basement closet. I have never much cared for the bird and actually tipped the sexton to remove it from the tree for my christmas time wedding a number of years ago.
