House for Rent Near Tenth Church
My wife, daughter, and I will
be moving to Florida in July, and will be renting out our house at 17th and
Webster. Webster Street is located between and Christian and Catherine
streets in the Graduate Hospital area. It is a 10 minute bike ride to
University City to the east, or the Italian market to the west, and a 10-15
minute walk to Tenth Pres. and Rittenhouse square.
The street is quiet, and the neighbors are a mix of young professionals and families. During warmer months, everyone is out on their front steps, so the street feels very safe and the neighbors are friendly. Three years ago, the city outlawed parking on Webster, so you'll often see kids outside playing. There is frequently parking on 17th street, and there is always a space within 3 blocks of the house. The house is 1,024 square feet, and is 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath with a finished basement. The house was built in 1925, but was completely renovated in 2007 with wood floors on the first floor and wood/carpeted floors on the second floor. There is an open concept layout and beautiful, spacious, granite counter-tops, which make it ideal for hosting dinner parties. The kitchen appliances are stainless steel, and the washer/dryer are stacked high-efficiency Bosch machines.The house will be available July 15th, and we will be renting it for $1500 month.
