Full-Time Accountant Position

FINANCIAL AND BENEFITS ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Qualifications
- Minimum Associates Degree in Accounting or related field
- Two years related work experience in Accounting
- Experience or familiarity in payroll administration and processing
- Experience or familiarity working with benefits (retirement plans, life insurance, long and short term disability, flexible spending accounts and health insurance)
- Experience with QuickBooks or a similar AP/GL software program
- Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and ADP Payroll
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-task oriented, professional environment
- Must be organized with strong attention to details
- Confidentiality in all areas is crucial
Requirements
- Assist in the daily accounting and administrative functions in the Finance and Benefits Department including: general accounting, account analysis, completing forms and documents, input for payroll and benefits, employee communications and meetings, website and document maintenance, filing, assist in budgeting, audits, external reporting, and petty cash maintenance. 
- Other duties as assigned
