The American Academy's Lessons & Carols Program

Come one, come all! The American Academy is having their traditional Lessons & Carols program on Wednesday, December 19 at 1 PM. Special guest Rev. Carroll Wynne will officiate and refreshments will be served after the program.

The American Academy is a classical Christian school and winner of the national 2010 Henry Salvatori Prize for Excellence  in Teaching, awarded by Hillsdale College. The American Academy program emphasizes Latin, Greek, Mathematics and Science, the Great Books, writing and History. They teach the Bible and the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Their students have an active extracurricular program which includes participation in the Foreign Policy Research Institute, the Navy underwater robotics competition, the Philadelphia Classical Society competition, Math Olympiads and Scholastic Writing Competition. They have a superb college placement record and have enjoyed many of Tenth Presbyterian Church's covenant children as students.
