Parking Volunteers Needed
Do you drive to Tenth on Sundays and park on the street? Then Tenth needs your help. Can you once a month or even two months take a turn doing one of the following: monitoring one of the two turn lanes near the church and/or placing or picking up parking cones?
Monitoring a parking lane involves standing in the area and redirecting Tenth parkers (maybe one or two will try to park in a lane). The time is 45 minutes (options are 8:30-9:15a; 10:30-11:15a; 5:45-6:35p).
Placing or picking up cones takes about 15 minutes. An efficient system is in place, complete with carts and maps. Placing cones are done by 8:15a and 5:15p. Picking them up can be done anytime after the 11:00 service and 6:30 service, although you can pick them up before the services end as well.
To volunteer for monitoring, email me at mclark@tenth.org. For cones, email Scott Moore.
