I have in my hand a copy of the Gospel of John--Africa Study Bible.  It has finally happened! It is the New Living Translation with the notes produced by African church leaders and pastors for the people of Africa.  I encourage you to take a look at the presentation on youtube.

I have had the privilege interacting with my brother Ed, his wife Ginnie, and their son, Dr. Matthew Elliott on this project.  I have helped AIM raise the funds to purchase 5,000 copies to be given away by church leaders in Africa as they share the good news about Jesus.

It is not a small project.  Hundreds of African church leaders are involved!
