Men's Ministry

A new ministry for men is kicking off tomorrow, September 8, at the Church of the Living Savior, located at Fountain and Silverwood Sts. in Roxborough. The group will meet twice weekly--Saturday mornings from 8-9:30 am and on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 pm. All men are invited.

The aim of the Saturday meeting is to encourage all men who are aware of their spiritual brokenness to come together to worship God, to openly repent of their sin, to pray for one another and to hold each other accountable to following Jesus through simple obedience. They will hear the gospel and have an opportunity to respond to the Holy Spirit. It is to be a safe place for men to be transparent before Jesus and their brothers. The foundation for this is the love of our Father and His Son for us and our call to truly love Him and one another. Leaders can experience the blessing of mentoring other men, encouraging them in their journey and seeing the fruit of making disciples. The relationships that are formed in the meeting time can be the stepping stones to fulfilling the great commission in a format of one on one/two on one discipleship making groups.
The Tuesday meeting will consist of instruction and small group interaction. The curriculum will be composed of classes in Discipleship, Biblical Manhood, Spiritual Warfare and other pertinent subjects which men need to grasp in order to be free to be the men we were created to be.
