Summer Robotics
Delware County Christian School is hosting a FREE summer robotics program on Tuesday nights from 6-8pm. It starts June 19 and continues through August 14 at the upper campus. We are opening this to the entire Metro Philadelphia region. The purpose is to generate lots of new teams in the area and to give the mentors of those teams the training and contacts that they need to be successful in the future. If you are interested in mentoring a robotics team, come and learn how. If you have kids that want to be part of a team, bring them as well. We will be playing with robots every Tuesday night!
The program will focus on overall skills development and will have challenge fields for requiring various kinds of programming and mechanical ingeniuty--these fields will be Lego and Arduino friendly--such as Firefighting challenges and the Carnegie-Mellon Robotics Academy challenges.
For more information, contact Jim Crane.
