CCA Principal

After serving three years as principal of City Center Academy, Owen Davis is moving on to serve as principal of Santiago Christian School in the Dominican Republic. Yes, by strange coincidence, that is the same school of which Seth Cohen is headmaster.

After an extensive search, CCA's present headmaster Jake Becker is pleased to announce a new principal.

It is with great joy that I am pleased to announce that our own Jim Sorge has been hired to become the next principal at City Center Academy. Mr. Sorge has been an exceptional teacher at CCA for the past three years. He carries with him a love and dedication to our school mission and demonstrates this daily through his care of our student body. Mr. Sorge will officially begin in his position on July 1, 2012.

Mr. Sorge distinguished himself in the application process as a man of conviction, committed to humility and servant leadership. His passion, professionalism and clear understanding of the beautiful mission we have to train students’ minds, disciple their hearts, and bring light to the city—one child at a time, give me great hope for the future in store for our growing school.
