March 19 Vision Night

Mark on your calendar March 19 for this year's Vision Night. We are moving the annual meeting from Friday to Saturday night and starting activities an hour earlier to get you home earlier. Dinner will start at 5:15 and the meeting will run from 6:30 to 8:30.

You will recall that we switched two years from the format of a congregational meeting
consisting of many individual reports. We renamed the event as Vision Night and had the three commissions (Kingdom Discipleship, City Outreach, Global Outreach) present multimedia presentations of their work in general, with an eye toward the coming year.

There will be less media presentations and more "live" testimony from the commissions, primarily highlighting what has happened this past year. We know about the seismic shift events, but because of those major events we may have missed what the Holy Spirit had continued to do in and through our ongoing ministries and activities. This will be a night to testify and to celebrate the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the church. The meeting will have more of a worship service feel than a report meeting feel.
