Elianna

Jonathan and Rachel Olsen's new baby Elianna (born January 19) has been in Children's Hospital since last Wednesday. She has a viral infection in her bloodstream. Tests are being run to have an accurate diagnosis of the extent of the infection. She is expected to be in the hospital for another three weeks.

Certainly be in prayer for Elianna and for the family. The church family has come around them, and they are receiving much support, especially from the S Philly church plant community. Dan Weidner is working on a schedule now to coordinate practical support (such as meals, babysitting) and should have it ready by tomorrow. If you wish to help, you can email him using this link.

Both Jonathan and Rachel have been encouraged by the prayers they know are being lifted on Elianna's behalf, as well as by the reading of the Word. Passages that have ministered to them are Isaiah 40:11, Psalm 16, 116, and 121, and Deuteronomy 29:29.
