David Fuller Report

(Note: David Fuller recently returned from Haiti, serving on a medical team from Cooper University Hospital.)

Hi Marion - Not all of the news from Haiti is grim. I witnesed people from all over the world working together to help meet the needs of injured Haitians. Not only is help arriving, but much of the help is coming from Christian hospitals and orphanages that were in existence in Haiti prior to the earthquake. Certainly much work remains, not only to stablize the country from this recent disaster, but hopefully also to help this country rise from its incredible preexisting poverty.

I have attached a couple of pictures from a medical camp that we were helping to set up at an orphanage in Fond Parisien, Haiti. The name of the orphanage is "Love a Child." I encourage people to go to their website www.loveachild.com and read through some of the daily entries in Sherry's journal to get a glimpse of the positive work that is being done in the country. I hope that this is an encouragement to those following this devastating story and provides a little different perspective from what CNN is highlighting.

There will continue to be incredible need in this country for months and years to follow. I encourage prayer for healing.

Thanks, Dave Fuller
