Matthew Henry (1662-1714) is best known for his verse by verse commentary on the whole Bible. Dr. Old tells me that the commentary is a compilation of the teachings he gave from the pulpit similar to what we do with our weekly Scripture Reading. He is also known for a book he wrote entitled A Method for Prayer. This website that Phil is referring to presents the full book. Check it out.
