Biblical Apologetics Course

Delaware County Christian School Offers Beginning Biblical Apologetics Course for Adults

Class: Beginning Biblical Apologetics
Teacher: Dr. David P. Smith, Bible Department Chair, DCCS
When and Where: Tuesday Evenings 7-9:30, From Sept. 22-Dec. 8 (No class on Nov. 17) at DC's upper campus in H213
Purpose: To explore the biblical Gospel in order to better explain it to others that by God's grace it might be established in us and others.
Each class member will receive a copy of Dr. Smith's Beginning Biblical Apologetics: Exploring, Explaining and Establishing the Biblical Gospel and will be led in guided discussions on the material.

About the Teacher:
Dr. Smith holds a Master of Divinity from Covenant Seminary and a Ph.D. in historical theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has taught at DC since 2003, and has twice been named Most Influential Teacher by DC graduating classes. His doctoral work focused on the theology and view of apologetics of the American evangelical biblical scholar and theologian B. B. Warfield. His dissertation has been selected for publication by the Evangelical Theological Society's new monograph series. He is an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He and his wife Tracy have three children: Gresham (8), Isaac (5) and Katie (4), and are active at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.

Cost: $100 (payment due at first class), which includes a copy of the text, written by Dr. Smith
