Grace Church
Grace Church of Philly is a new church plant work in the Powelton Village area behind Drexel University. They are having a Launch Team Picnic at Drexel Park (32nd and Baring) on Saturday Sept 19 from 4-7 PM. Anyone interested in a church plant in Powelton Village is welcome. The rain date is Sept 20, same time and place.
An independent work, the leaders are Reformed. You can check out their website at www.gracechurchphilly.org. The organizing pastor, John Davis, dropped in for a visit yesterday. I was a bit suspicious (rides a Harley-Davidson), but learned that he is the father of Deborah Rojas whom some of you may remember as a Tenth member and wife of Richard Rojas.
