Fire Safety

From Joe Brydges:

The house of a Tenth member was destroyed by fire on Mother's Day. All of the occupants of the house was able to get out safely but they are now homeless as a result of this trial in their life. The Board of Deacons are looking to provide support to our family members in their time of need and your contributions to the Deacons Fund will enable us to do so in a tangible way. The fire marshal's office has determined that the fire was caused by lint build up in the clothes dryer. This is an important reminder to clean your lint trap after EVERY use and also to inspect the vents regularly. It is also a good idea to replace your vent ducts every few years or at least have it cleaned periodically. If you can't remember the last time it was cleaned it is probably overdue.
