Sparrows Saturday
All women, teens and girls ages five years old and up are invited to the Sparrows fall kick-off this Saturday, October 11 in the Catacombs. We'll be meeting from 1:00-3:00.
Our devotional speaker will be Arlita Winston. Arlita will be sharing memories and slides of growing up in the jungles of Sumatra, Indonesia with her missionary parents. Her recently published book about her parents called "Heart-Cry" will be available for purchase. The paperback is $15, a hardback is $22. All proceeds go towards the support of a Christian pastor working with the Kabu tribes in Sumatra.
Our craft that day will be learning stick weaving (but we'll be using straws!). Refreshments will be provided! You do not need to preregister for this event, but if you have any questions you may contact Dori at baggsend@juno.com
