I don't think we ever announced the new principal of City Center Academy. He is Owen Davis, who had already served several years on the faculty. Owen's biggest distinction is that his hometown, Sumter, SC, is forty minutes from my hometown of Kingstree. What are the odds of two South Carolina boys in nearby towns serving as principal of the same small urban school in Philadelphia?
