Thanks for praying

Maranatha is SO enjoying our time on Christian Street! Each afternoon more children come out and every evening more from the neighborhood come out to enjoy a meal on us. (Hot dogs are always a hit -- we served as many the last night as our first night even though we also barbecued hundreds of kababs. But our joy is in the conversations as people stay around to talk. One older resident reminisced of how this kind of "instant community party" happened so often in the past...but not recently.

Thanks for praying! We have been so welcomed into the community and our family living in the area have met so many of their neighbors -- we rejoice in our God's kindness of connecting us together! Please pray for the rest of our week as we engage the children in fun, learn to juggle (thanks Matt and Dan), cook up fabulous feasts (thanks Susana and Audrey), talked and talked (you know who you are) and anticipate a concert courtesy of the Westminster Brass on Thursday!
