Wheaton Club of Philadelphia Event

Saturday, April 19 at 6:30 pm-- Light Dinner and Program
"C. S. Lewis' Prince Caspian: A Showcase for Lewis' Big Ideas"
@ Spruce Hill Christian School, 4115 Baltimore Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104

Every time C.S. Lewis put his pen to paper his aim was to set forth a vision of life. This is not merely true in his work in Christian apologetics, but also in his fiction. Dr. Root will explore the background, main ideas, and rhetorical intention Lewis articulated in Prince Caspian. His presentation coincides with the upcoming release of the new Narnian Film, “Prince Caspian.” This Wheaton gathering will not only be a time to connect with old friends and classmates living in the area but also provide an opportunity for a stimulating lecture and discussion. Feel free to invite others to join you—friends, potential Wheaton College students or C.S. Lewis enthusiasts—for a stimulating time together.

$15 per person
RSVP to Matt Edmond: 610.277.0696 or mjedmond@hotmail.com

Families are welcome; dress is business casual.
