Flea Market

We are praying to be part of a ministry to bring a thrift store to Northeast Philadelphia starting with a flea market on April 26.

We believe a thrift store can create opportunities to meet people in Northeast Philadelphia. It can also connect us with the multiethnic community here. This kind of ministry can also generate needed resources for local and worldwide mission works. We have dreamed about starting a thrift store for a while although our resources are really limited. However, the flea market that Niltha Schloeffel, a member of the Northeast Church Plant, is organizing on April 26 may move us closer towards this dream. My wife and I want to be part of this ministry; however, we need your prayer and your help.

For more than a year now, my wife Angela has spent a few hours every Thursday morning working at New Life Thrift Shop. Angela has learned much from the store. She will help Niltha to make this flea market a blessing to the community. Proceeds from this and several other flea markets in the next few months will build up our revenues for a thrift store in the future.

How can you help? You can donate used goods IN GOOD CONDITION for "New Life Flea Market." We are looking for items like clothing, books, strollers, decorations, glassware, etc., including small furniture items. We need these items by April 19.
