liberti Positions
Position Description: A successful Bookkeeper for the liberti churches would envision his/her role at liberti as a ministry position rather than simply a support position—seeing the dissemination of information and proper care of our financial resources as vital to the health and growth of each congregation in maturity. Because this role serves several liberti congregations, we anticipate a growth over time in the number of hours that may be required as we continue to plant future churches.
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to work independently
Work directly with the Church’s Session surrounding all financial needs
Able to oversee an organization’s finances
Understands cash-based and accrual based business finance (the church currently operates under a cash-based system)
Works well with people in person and on the telephone
Team player, can respond to feedback and make adjustments, flexible
Extremely confidential with sensitive church information (ie. individual giving)
Strong knowledge and background in Clergy and Church Tax Laws
Desired Experience:
Financial administration experience
Proficiency with accounting program
1-2 years experience working directly with Church finances

Both helping harness the gifts of the body and developing good systems and communication are vital to the health of our community. This is not busy work, it is essential work.
Desired Experience: Administrative Experience, preferably in a church or entrepreneurial setting
Position qualifications:
o Facility with computers, uploading content on website,
o Good communication skills verbally and in writing
o Self-starter and self-motivated worker
o Ability to manage volunteers
o Multi-tasking, creative thinking and problem solving
Hours: 15 hours per week.
Compensation: based on experience.
