Sunday Traffic Alert
There will be another walk/bicycle event on Sunday, this time impacting New Jersey folks, as well as the usual North Philadelphia crowd. (Why do the southern and western folks get it so easy?)
Click here for The Walk for Hope website (which incredibly gives no walking route details). The walk begins at Campbell’s Field, Camden, crosses the Ben Franklin Bridge, continues through Old City, and ends at the Hyatt Regency on Penn's Landing.
The bikers also begin at Campbell's Field, crosses Ben Franklin, then travels through Philadelphia to West River Drive, and then back to Penn’s Landing for the finish line festival at the Hyatt Regency. The Bike Ride begins at 9:30 am. The walk begins at 10:00am.
Looks like NJ worshippers should head for the Walt Whitman and N Philadelphian take 76 to South Street or 95 to Washington.
