Presbytery

The Philadelphia Presbytery met last night. We met in the church facilities of what was Grace Chapel and is now the third of liberti fellowship's three-locations church. It is in the Roxborough area far up on Henry Avenue.

Phil gave the sermon during worship, based on presbytery's fourth core value: "Christ-centered expository preaching is foundational to the vitality and mission of the Church." We examined and passed three men for licensure. This is provided mostly for men preparing for ordination, but may be extended to anyone, such as a ruling elder, who preaches on a regular basis.

A call was extended to Maranatha Chung to do church planting in the northeast among the Chinese community.

Bill Krispin was "honorably retired," which is a misnomer, considering that Bill's idea of retirement would wear out most of us other ministers. He no longer has to be involved in presbytery matters, but...
