Position: ENGLISH TEACHER (Grades 9-12)
Part time: Three classes (2 preparations) five mornings a week.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in English from a regionally accredited college or university
• Pennsylvania Teacher’s Certification (or plans to work towards obtaining certification)
• Commitment to Christian Education
• Desire to be part of a growing, multiracial, urban, Christian high school with high academic standards
• Experience working with teenagers

We are looking for an outstanding teacher of high school English. This person will be an integral part of our faculty and should enjoy working with a team to provide quality education in an urban context.

Position: ADMISSIONS/OFFICE ASSISTANT
Part-time; 3-4 days per week; hours negotiable

• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)
• Excellent computer skills
• Desire to work with urban teens and their families in the context of Christian education

Position: AFTERCARE ACTIVITIES COORDINATORS (Grades K thru 5th )
Number of Positions available (2)
Part-time: 15-18 hours per week

Location: Spruce Hill Christian School, 4115 Baltimore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Qualifications:
• High School Graduate
• Minimum of one year experience working with youth in an organized setting
• Possess excellent management and communication skills

Spruce Hill Christian School is seeking an After-School Activities Coordinator. Qualified candidates must be organized, flexible, creative an able to coordinate after school activities. The position requires on-site presence 3.25 hours a day (3 PM – 6:15 PM) on school days only. Two Friday’s a month (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM)




Position: PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER (Grades K thru 8th )
Part-time; 2 days a week 8:15 AM-3:15 PM

 Commitment to Christian Education

We are searching for an outstanding teacher of physical education to fill this K thru 8th grade position. This person will help develop an effective K-8 PE curriculum. Should model and promote healthy living. Must have good communication, organizational and management skills. Additional coaching responsibilities may be offered.

Position: SPANISH TEACHER (Grades K thru 8th)
Part-time; 2days a week; Hours 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM)

Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university
• Pennsylvania Teacher’s Certification or equivalent
• Fluent command of Spanish and English is essential
• Commitment to Christian education
• Desire to work in a growing, multi-racial, urban, Christian elementary school

We are seeking a Spanish teacher to instruct elementary and middle school students in language acquisition and practical application. Middle school students will be complete Spanish I course.
