Doc McFarland for 30!

This past Thursday night Dr. George K McFarland, our Clerk of Session, celebrated 30 years of service at Delaware County Christian School. Not only is "Doc" one of the beloved teachers and a discipler of young men, often having them work alongside him whether it be on the track (he is one of the track coaches) or painting homes (what he enjoys doing on the side). Officially, Doc wears many hats at DCCS: Head of the History Department, Dean of the High School Faculty and a national reader for Advance Placement examinations. Doc has also worked faithfully with accreditation of other Christian schools, as well as serving on the board of the City Center Academy/ Spruce Hill Christian Academy. In between all of this, George and Crys (who also teaches at DCCS) have reared three wonderful children.

So let's celebrate George!

Thanks for letting us know more about one of our elders. Is there an elder/pastor for whom tomorrow will be an important number????.....
