Full-Orbed

"Get the word out," he said to me, his eyes narrowing as the sunlight coming through the window fell across his face. "Tell them I have come not simply to do a midweek service, but to have a full-orbed ministry to center city!"

I thought we were getting a good speaker one night of the week that would be a draw, but Paul Tripp wants more! He wants to gather a team of people with the vision and gifts to reach out to the center city community and prepare them for a deeper and more lasting impact in the city. The midweek service will be a part of that work.

We are already getting calls for when that service will begin and what it will look like. The answer is we don't know, yet. Our goal is to give clear answers by the first weekend in March when the Urban Missions Conference is scheduled. That Sunday Paul will be officially installed as a minister on staff. Meanwhile, he begins the first phase of his work here by first learning, planning, and gathering his team.
