Turkish Study Program

Melissa G sent this in to me:

The following message is from Guler Koknar, Executive Director of the Turkish Cultural Foundation and may be of interest to some.

Dear Friends,
We wanted to take this opportunity to inform college students in theTurkish American community and beyond about a semester abroad program offered by Georgetown University at the McGhee Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies in Alanya. For more on the McGhee Center and the program, please click here. The Turkish Cultural Foundation has just awarded a grant to this program. The grant will be allocated to scholarships for qualifying students in the Spring 2007 semester, based on academic performance and financial need. The Spring 2007 semester deadline for non-Georgetown University students is November 1, 2006. If the program's quota has not been filled by then, we understand that there is a flexibility on this deadline. To find out more about this program and to apply, students should contact:
Dr.Kay Ebel
Administrative Director
McGhee Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies
Georgetown Universitykae

Thank you for your help in getting the word out about this program. All the best,
Guler Koknar
