Sheryl notes the importance of Christian community she receives from the church and from her small group (attending 15 years). I have never heard Cheryl perform professionally, only on occassion at chruch. The article was great but the thing that truely showed me her heart for serving the Lord with her gifts and her love for her chruch family was going to pick Victoria up from Praise Makers one day and finding her and 20 other kids skipping along behind Cheryl as she joyful beat a hand drum and showed them how to keep the beat as a group. What a joyous picture of the use of the gifts given us by God to serve all parts of the body that was to me.
